The Luck Factor: Is Luck By Chance?
If you’re wondering if luck is by chance, then I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr Richard Wiseman’s research on luck in his book The Luck Factor. I took a few minutes to summarize what I learned from it for you…
In this uncut video you’ll learn:
- The 4 luck principles Dr Wiseman discovered lucky people have in common
- That even lucky people like me can stumble my words and “Um” and “Uhh” all over the place!
- How to get lucky at the end…
Enjoy watching…

Bruce, It’s nice to see you are human too. I very much enjoyed you’re video, with all the goofs it made it more enjoyable to watch…….:-)
I learned a very valuable tidbit of information from it, if your mind doesn’t have a goal to focus on then it will focus on the default thoughts, the past, because that is what it knows. That is a very good indication that you need to set a gosl, a good “catching point”. Use the past as a learning tool, and then move on.
Thank you for that.
I do have you’re meditations and use them.

thanks Bruce, i really enjoyed watching this video, you are a “real” person. i find that i’m generally a ‘lucky’ person and interestingly have all of the traits you mentioned, its great that youv’e exposed that knowlege and given me more tools to work with – this will hopefully encourage more luck!!? also enjoyed the GOAL SETTING reminder (in particular: short term goals), something i slip up on, but have realised is an intergral and very important part of my life! – keep up the good work
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I always had a problem with goal setting, but because of your explanation I now understand why it needs to be done.
Basically the default paradigm kicks in if a new goal is not established in our sub-conscious. I can know see why my life was on repeat, even though I was staying positive, visualising, forgiving all who I thought to have wronged me (I now know it was my own insecurities that presented in my outer world) and being grateful for my past and present.
Again thank you, I can feel a shift in my awareness by feeling excited about my goals.
Bruce – what a great video. I appreciated the reminder that luck comes to us through people. It’s so true, and so easily overlooked. I’m going to keep my eyes open for all the evidence of this in my life and appreciate the heck out of each instance. Thank you!!
Hi Bruce, I just watched the video, I liked your laid-back Caribbean kite-surfing style (kind of ‘winging-it’)of your presentation – it gave me a giggle over and above the valuable tips. Think we may show it at our sales meeting if ok with you? Please keep them coming… Many thanks.
Hi Bruce, I am baffled!!! I practice the subjects in the video yet my feed back aint luck! Where am I going wrong?
Dear Bruce. Brilliant video, inspite of getting Richard Wiseman’s surname wrong about 5 times. I’ve been practising stuff from the Secret and not getting it quite right. However, your presentation just provided the missing link-approach strangers (:)), uncross the legs and open up the hands. everything I don’t do although I always expect luck. Thank you and stay blessed (and lucky).
All I can say is keep kitesurfing Bruce – it suits you – and us!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful insights.
Lucky people know that out of something which is or seems to be bad something good if not great will happens, which would not have happened without the bad thing. The same is with successful people: When they have a failure, they see it as having learned something. They might change the approach, and go ahead to achieve the goal they have set.
