Thank you! From the bottom of my heart thank you! I have been told so many times, “you have to love yourself, before someone will love you”. I got so tired of hearing it I closed myself off, from so many people for years. I tell people I’m working on myself so they stop asking why I’m not in a relationship. Yes, as a matter of fact I am working on myself. I am learning to be ok with my faults. If I’m not ok with it, I can change it. Sometimes, when one is pointed out, I eventually come to the realization that is just the way I am. I can’t help it. Like it, or don’t, that’s me.
I have supportive people, they are just thousands of miles away. I am working on making new friends, who are supportive and encouraging. Being an introvert, it is slow going, but I’m trying. That is all I ask of myself is to try. Even if I fail, that was just today, tomorrow will be different.

just listened to your ted talk….and the went to your web site…..your message of authenticity and less deception….really resonates with me…at 67 years…..i am a constant student in this wild chaotic earth school……and becoming a senior is very interesting experience…one really gets to shed at lot old culture programs mentally and emotionally and a real sense of freedom develops….at the same physically you witness signs of slowing down…..one must really have a great sense of humour…….so now i will listen to the other videos…..

I have just listened to your talk and I wanted to say how empowering I found it. I am at a point in my life where over the last 12 months I have suffered with work stress and low mood, breast cancer, disciplinary, grievance and ultimate redundancy from (what I thought was) my dream job plus lost money. Whilst today I have so much less than this time last year, I also have so much more – a purpose, love, peace, my own company, a coaching qualification…

Your talk was recommended to me by a friend as we both are starting our business’ and we are trying to get to the core of what works for us and the people we want to serve. This has helped and you have inspired me in my quest to be a speaker in my own right. Thank you
